Omar Najdi was born in 1931 in Cairo, and from 88 to 1991 he worked as Professor and Head of the Interior Design and Furniture Department at the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University.
Al-Najdi had graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1953, and since his first exhibition, he has received many prizes in the art of painting, and has visited many world capitals as a student of science, as a professor and a teacher since 1959 when he received a scientific scholarship to the Soviet Union to study the art of Chinese ceramics, as well as He received a certificate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, and participated in dozens of Egyptian, Arab and international exhibitions, in addition to group exhibitions, and Omar Najdi has received dozens of honors and awards, in addition to that, he directed many short films for Egyptian television and composed a number of radio-recorded songs, and France established A private museum for Omar Najdi paintings was inaugurated in 2002, in addition to many museum holdings in many world capitals.
